Privacy Policy
Effective: October 1, 2025
WingStack (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our apps, websites (including wingstack.ai), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Data We Collect
- Account & Contact Info: name, email, role, organization.
- Identifiers & Device Data: device type/OS, app version, IP-derived region, cookies or similar IDs.
- Usage & Diagnostics: feature use, crash logs, performance data.
- Content You Provide: trip requests, quotes, messages, files you upload.
- Payment/Commercial Data: if applicable, transaction records (processed by PCI-compliant providers).
- Location: only if you grant permission; used to improve trip relevance and safety features.
- Third-Party Data: data from integrated partners (e.g., email providers, cloud storage) as authorized by you.
We disclose these categories in App Store Connect (“App Privacy”) consistently with Apple’s requirements.
How We Use Data
- Provide, operate, and secure the Services (authentication, fraud prevention, abuse detection).
- Improve and develop features; analytics and metrics.
- Communicate with you (service messages, support); marketing with your consent where required.
- Comply with law and enforce terms; protect our users and business.
We may use aggregated or de-identified data for insights, benchmarking, and product improvement. We do not sell personal data.
Tracking & Advertising
If we engage in activities that constitute “tracking” across apps or websites (as defined by Apple), we will first request your permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can change your decision anytime in iOS Settings. Without permission, we will not track you for targeted advertising or connect your data with third-party data for that purpose.
Sharing
- Service Providers: cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, push notifications—under contracts that restrict use to our instructions.
- Business Transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.
- Legal/Safety: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
Your Choices & Rights
- Access/Deletion/Correction: request via [email protected].
- Marketing: opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
- Permissions: manage device permissions (e.g., location, tracking) in Settings.
Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA). We will honor verified requests as required by law.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use criteria such as account status, feature usage, and legal requirements to set retention periods.
Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
International Transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this Policy. We’ll post the new date above and, if changes are material, provide additional notice.
